Moscow, SANA-Russian Foreign Ministry said on Thursday that the Israeli aggression on Syrian territory is a flagrant violation of sovereignty and international law.
“According to received information, the Israeli aerial forces launched on Oct.12 strikes on the Syrian Arab Republic’s lands that caused damage to Damascus and Aleppo airports,” Sputnik quoted the Ministry as saying.
It affirmed that the Israeli acts form a flagrant violation of Syria’s sovereignty, adding that such acts would lead to armed escalation in view of the current serious situation in the region.
“The Israeli occupation forces carried out an air aggression on the two international airports of Damascus and Aleppo, taking them out of service,” said a Syrian military source.
