Beirut, SANA- Syrian Ambassador in Lebanon, Ali Abdul-Kareem, discussed on Tuesday with secretary general of Tashnag Party in Lebanon Hagop Pakradounian, bilateral relations between Syria and Lebanon and the latest developments in the region.
Following the meeting, Abdul-Kareem said relations with Tashnag Party are not new and the meeting aimed at renewing continuous dialogue between the two sides.
Pakradounian, for his part, said ”our policy is not based on special or sectarian benefits”, adding that Syria, as country, people and institutions, defends its sovereignty, freedom and territorial integrity.
He hoped war on Syria would come to an end and a political solution would be reached to satisfy the Syrian people.
