Provinces, SANA – Units of the army and armed forces crushed Sunday a number of terrorist organizations’ dens and hideouts, including for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), and destroyed several vehicles for the terrorists, killing more of them.
Idleb
Units of the Army and Armed Forces carried out intensive strikes against terrorist organizations’ gatherings and hideouts, eliminating their members, some of them hold Saudi or Uzbek nationalities, in Idleb countryside.
Several terrorists were killed, others were injured and some of their vehicles were destroyed when an army unit targeted their dens and gatherings in Qaminas and al-Husainia villages southeast of Idleb.
In the western parts of Idleb city, a unit of the Army destroyed a vehicle laden with mines and explosive devices, killing a number of terrorists, most of them are of foreign nationalities.
Terrorist organizations suffered heavy losses during an Army’s special operation which caused the death of number of terrorists, injured many others and destroyed some of their hideouts in Taftanaz, Ayn Martin and Binnesh northeast of Idleb city.
Meanwhile, there have been reports confirming the death of more than 15 terrorists in Saraqeb city, among them Turkish, French and Tunisians.
Army continued military operations against foreign-baked terrorist organizations in eastern Idleb, many terrorists in Tal Salmo, Um Jrein, Hmeimat and Abu al-Duhour.
Meanwhile, Army unit destroyed terrorists’ gatherings and dens in Ara and al-Bal’a villages.
During Army intensive operations in Jisr al-Shughour area, terrorist organizations human and material losses in Hallouz and al-Taibat.
Another Army unit targeted terrorists’ gatherings and killed many of them in Basames village in the northwest part of al-Zawia Mountain.
A number of terrorists were killed and others were injured during Army operations against their hideouts in Majdlia and Nahla in the countryside of Ariha.
An Army unit eliminated several terrorist organizations’ members and injured others in Brouma Farms near Maaret Masin north of Idleb.
Hasaka
Army units targeted hideouts of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist organization with heavy artillery in the villages of al-Roqia, al-Oja, Tal Shamiram, and al-Aghbish in the southern countryside of Tal Tamr area in Hasaka province.
The operations resulted in the death of scores of ISIS terrorists and the destruction of their vehicles, weapons, ammo, and fortifications.
Another army unit targeted a convoy of vehicles belonging to ISIS on the road to Abyad village 20 km west of Haska city, inflicting losses upon the terrorists. At least one vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun and six foreign terrorists on board were confirmed dead in the operation.
Daraa
A military source said units of Army and Armed Forces eliminated many terrorists in al-Minshia, the area surroundings Um al-Daraj neighborhood and the Old Customs neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad as well as in Inkhel, the area surrounding al-Sheikh Myskeen, Qarafa and Ataman in Daraa countryside.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the death of Mohammad Amin Ghazi from the so-called “Al-Omari Brigades”, Fares al-Fallah from “Al-Sanamain Martyrs’ Battalion”, Mohammad Abdul-Wahab Tayasneh and Mohammad Haitham Abdul-Fattah al-Nabelsi.
Hama
Army units targeted hideouts of terrorist organizations in the villages of al-Dakila al-Shamalia Tabarit al-Deiba in al-Salamiya area of Hama province, resulting in the death of many terrorists and the destruction of their weapons and vehicles.
Other army units carried out concentrated operations targeting terrorist hideouts in the villages of al-Maazamia and Jrouh in Ugairabat area 70 km east of Hama, killing and wounding a number of terrorists, while a special operation in al-Bel’as resulted in the death of a number of terrorists and the destruction of their vehicles.
Army operations in the province’s countryside also targeted terrorist concentrations and dens in the areas of Rasm al-Seid, , Rasm al-Mer’i, , al-Na’ima, Abdeen, and Barraq al-Nashmiya, leaving a number of terrorists dead or injured and destroying several hideouts along with their contents.
Quneitra
Army and Armed Forces’ units killed terrorists on the intersection of Mashara-Agricultural Scientific Research in Quneitra countryside.
Sweida
Units of the army and armed forces kill a number of terrorists and destroy a vehicle equipped with a 23mm machinegun on al-Alali to al-Shumara road in the northwestern countryside of Sweida province.
Homs
Army units eliminated a number of ISIS terrorists while targeting their hideouts and vehicles in the area surrounding al-Shaer oil and gas field in the countryside of Homs province.
The army also targeted terrorist concentrations and dens in Jabab Hamad in al-Furuqlus area and in the village of al-Mshairfeh al-Shamaliya in the province’s eastern countryside, leaving many terrorists dead or injured and destroying their weapons and ammo.
Many terrorists were killed in army operations in al-Houla northwest of Homs, in addition to killing a number of terrorists from Jabhet al-Nusra and other terrorist groups and injuring others in al-Rastan, Talbiseh, and Kafr Laha in the province’s northern countryside.
