Peskov: Ukraine’s accession to NATO will have negative repercussions on European security

Moscow, SANA- Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that Ukraine’s accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) would have very negative repercussions on European security.

“Ukraine’s membership in “NATO” will have very negative repercussions on the entire security structure in Europe, and it will also pose an absolute risk to our country that will entails a serious response,” Peskov was quoted by RT website as commenting on the possibility of discussing Ukraine’s accession to NATO during a NATO summit in Vilnius this week.
