Moscow says it thwarted a Ukrainian missile offensive

Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry announced thwarting an attempt by Kiev regime aimed at shelling Crimea, Rostov and Kaluga regions with missiles.

“On July 9th, the Kiev regime made a failed attempt to attack targets in Crimea and the Rostov and Kaluga regions with S-200 anti-aircraft missiles,” the ministry was quoted by Sputnik agency as saying in a statement.

Russian air defense systems have also destroyed two Ukrainian S-200 missiles, and the electronic warfare system jammed two other missiles, according to the statement.
