Bratislava, SANA- Former Slovak Prime Minister, Ján Čarnogurský, has affirmed that the resumption of Syria’s participation in the Arab League meetings represents a defeat for the US plans in one of the battles, and it will not be the last defeat.
“This victory for Syria was achieved thanks to the steadfastness of the Syrian people and the wisdom of their leadership,” Carnogursky said in a statement to SANA correspondent in Prague, wishing Syria more success.
On Saturday, Head of the Slovak Socialists Party, Artur Bekmatov, affirmed that Syria’s return to the Arab League is an important step out of the Western blockade.
