Electricity restored to Hasaka after 3-day blackout

Hasaka, SANA – Electricity was restored to Hasaka after three days of blackout caused by terrorist attacks on power cables in Hasaka’s northern countryside.

Head of the General Establishment for Electricity in Hasaka told SANA that the city is now being supplied by electric power through 66 kv cables coming from the main station in the province, adding that the electricity is weak currently and will be fully restored after replacing the damaged pylon, which should be accomplished within a week.

Last Sunday, many of the city’s power grid cables were damaged after terrorists attacked them, causing an electric outage in the city.
