National Earthquake Center: 13 weak to medium quakes recorded over 24 past hours

Damascus, SANA- The National Earthquake Center has recorded 13 quakes with a severity ranging between weak and medium over the past 24 hours.

The Center said in a statement that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Networks reported that till 7:46 a.m. on Sunday, a weak earthquake was recorded 10km southeast of Lattakia, while six others were recorded in Liwa Iskenderun, two of which with a magnitude of 4 on the Richter Scale, while the four others were weak.

Meanwhile, two weak tremors hit both Lebanon and Palestine and four weak tremors hit Turkey.

The quakes have occurred at different depths, as the depth of the one which hit Palestine reached up to 92 km.
