Occupied Jerusalem, (SANA) – Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Sebastia Atallah Hanna greeted Syria, hailing the legendary steadfastness of the Syrian people in confronting the conspiracy that was aimed at dismembering the country.
The Archbishop said during his meeting with a delegation from Ghajar village in the occupied Syrian Golan that the conspiracy was foiled thanks to the wise Syrian leadership and the unity of the Syrian people, renewing congratulations to the Syrian people for President al-Assad’s winning a new presidential term.
He also expressed appreciation of the steadfastness of the Golanese and their adherence to their Syrian Arab identity.
For their part, the delegation members lauded the stances of Archbishop Hanna in defending Syria, stressing that these stances are appreciated by all honest Syrians.
