Damascus,SANA-Temperatures continue to drop to become 4 to 7 degrees below average, as the country is affected by an extension of a low air pressure accompanied by a cold and relatively humid air mass in all layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy, warning of frost on the mountain heights and some interior areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly moderate, with active gusts, sometimes exceeding 70 kilometers per hour especially in the southern, central, eastern and Badia regions.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be in Damascus 13/4, Daraa 12/3, Homs 12/8 Lattakia 14/11 Aleppo 12/5 and Deir Ezzor 14/6.
