Tehran, SANA- Iran has affirmed that the agreement with Saudi Arabia achieves the common interests of the peoples of the two countries and other countries in the region.
“The Iranian government has proven through Beijing agreement that it has a real and serious will to achieve the interests of the Iranian people, and that it is ready to employ regional opportunities and capabilities to promote comprehensive peace and stability,” the Iranian Foreign said in a statement.
“With this initiative, the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran showed its serious determination in to secure the interests of the Iranian nation as well as those of Muslim nations, its friends and neighbors in the region, as well as the use of regional capacities and potentials to realize and consolidate fully-fledged peace and stability and to secure the common and collective interests of the governments and nations of the region,” the statement added.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry expressed confidence in the role of this agreement and its positive effects in securing the common interests of the peoples of Iran, Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region.
