Provinces, SANA -Army and Armed Forces units, aided by popular defense groups, managed to restore security and stability to several towns in Damascus countryside and established control over areas in Daraa countryside.
“Army and Armed Forces units, aided by popular defense groups, continued successful combat operations in the southern region, bringing back security and stability to the towns of al-Habbariya, Kherbet al-Sultana and Hamrit in Damascus western countryside,” a statement by the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces declared.
The statement added that the army units established full control over Tal Qarin and Toloul Fatima in Daraa northwestern countryside after eliminating numbers of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the area.
“Operations are still underway on several axes in the region amid a state of chaos and dramatic collapse within the ranks of terrorist gangs,” added the statement.
The statement said that the new military wins add to recent victories where control was established over key towns and hills in the countryside of Damascus, Quneitra and Daraa.
The new wins are highly significant insomuch as they are thought to tighten the noose around terrorists in other areas and cut off their supply lines, not to mention form a springboard for broadening the scope of operations and eliminating terrorists in the area.
Meanwhile, Army units advanced from several axes in the strategic areas of Daraa, Quneitra and Damascus countryside triangle, establishing full control over Tal Qrein and a number of towns after eliminating the last terrorists’ gatherings in the area.
Hama
Army units targeted terrorists’ concentrations in Kifr Zeita, al-Qastal al-Wistani, Abu Habilat, Jana al-Albawi, Qasr Ibn Wardan, Masoud al-Mistirihya, Abdeen, and al-Zakat in Hama countryside, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.
Hasaka
Army units recaptured 16 villages and farms southeast of Qamishli from ISIS terrorists after driving out their last gatherings.
SANA reporter in Hasaka quoted a local source as saying that army units established full control over Tal al-Dahab, Jalbarat, Jabbara, al-Tuffahiyeh, Tal Shaikh, Bazbagh, Kherbet Hussein, al-Taweel and al-Tawabej, along with a string of farms in the southeastern countryside of Qamishli.
The remaining terrorists were forced to take flight under the army’s strikes.
The army’s wins come one day after its units managed to wring control of 5 villages from ISIS in the same area.
Homs
Army units killed many terrorists, injured others and destroyed their vehicles in Talbisa, al-Dweiba and Rahoum, foiling a terrorist attack on Um Jame’ in the eastern countryside of the central Homs province.
A military source told SANA that army units killed many terrorists and destroyed a vehicle that was transporting terrorists in the areas of Hosh Deghli, North Ashrafiya and in the village of Makramiya in Talbiseh countryside north of Homs.
Many terrorists were killed and injured in army operations in Dweiba village close to Massada, in addition to killing and injuring members of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist organization, the source added.
Meanwhile, an army unit foiled a terrorist attack from Rajm Qaser village towards Um Jameh close to the town of Hadida, killing and injuring many terrorists.
Army units killed and injured a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in Ounq al-Hawa, Umm Sahrij, al-Mishirfeh, al-Habra al-Gharbyeh, west of al-Sikhna, al-Dahik Mount, al-Dweiba, Umm al-Reish, Abu Hawadeed, Rahoum, and Mas’ada in Homs countryside.
other units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts in al-Rastan, Talbiseh, Jazal, al-Bal’as, and Douzen, killing a number of terrorists, injuring others, and destroying a number of their vehicles.
Daraa
A military source told SANA that army units established control over the areas of al-Habaria, Kherbet Sultana, Hamreet and Tal Qurein in the northwestern countryside of Daraa, killing a number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and destroying their weaponry.
The army units remarkably advanced through special operations, regaining stability and security during the past month to the towns of Deir- al-Adas, al-Danaji and Deir-Maker and establishing control on Tal-Mseih, Tal- Mori, Tal-al-Arous and Tal- al-Sarjeh.
Many terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra were killed during the operations including the so-called the military Emir of the south, the Jordanian terrorist Abu Omar Mokhtar.
The terrorist organizations confirmed on their websites that they have received heavy losses in the area and, and the killing of terrorists Hassan Qassem al-Mafalani, Nawaf Mousa al-Nazzal, Abdul-Rahman Mossab al-Farwan, yahya al-Sobh and Khaled Fallaha.
Army units also killed many terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in Kafar Nasej, Tal al-Hara and in the southeast part of Tal-Antar in Daraa countryside.
An army unit destroyed a terrorists’ hideout, killing all terrorists inside it and destroying their weapons and ammunition, in al-Kark neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad in the city.
Army units targeted terrorists’ concentrations in al-Sheikh Miskin, Kifr Nasej, Daraa al-Balad, Tal al-Alaqyeh and Tal Antar and killed a number of non-Syrian terrorists.
other units destroyed terrorists’ fortifications in the town of Atman, leaving scores of terrorists dead or injured and destroying a number of vehicles equipped with machineguns.
Aleppo
A Military source told SANA that army units destroy terrorists’ vehicles and gatherings in al-Rashideen al-Rabia, al-Ameria, al-Mallah farms, Anadan, Bab al-Hadid, al-Oeija, Dweir al-Zaitoun, al-Bab, west of al-Nairab airport, Babis, Suleiman al-Halabi neighborhood and Salah-Eddin in the northern province of Aleppo.
Quneitra
Army units carried out intensive operations against terrorists’ gatherings in Nabe’ al-Sakhr, in the eastern foot of Mass’hara hill and Tal al-Bazzaq in Quneitra countryside, killing many terrorists, injuring others and destroying a number of their vehicles.
Idleb
Units of the army and armed forces killed many terrorists in Heloz, Bashlamoon, Hamidiyah, Um Green , Abu aldhor and Tel Salmo in Idleb province countryside.
Army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Qinab and Qerfaya in Idelb countryside and killed and injured scores of terrorists.
The army also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of al-Shaar, Haj Mahmoud and near al-Arba’in Mount.
Army units eliminated terrorists’ concentrations in the areas of all-Bara, Talab, al-Dabshyeh, al-Bashiryeh, al-Janoudyeh, and al-Naqeer.
Other units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts and several of their vehicles including one equipped with a heavy machinegun, eliminated six terrorists, and injured others near the village of al-Bashiriye in Jisr al-Shughour area.
Damascus Countryside
Units of the army and armed forces killed many terrorists and injured others in Dahret al-Osoud to the west of Hassno village and to the east of al-Maqrouseh village in the southwestern countryside of Damascus.
Army units established control over Sabsaba in Damascus southwestern countryside and killed large numbers of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists.
An army unit eliminated gatherings of terrorists in Ersal area and destroyed several of their vehicles along with the terrorists on board.
