Lattakia, SANA-Lattakia Governor, Amer Hilal, stressed the importance of strengthening the response plan and coordinating joint action to reach all those affected by the earthquake that hit Syria.
“The number of earthquake victims in the province amounted to 805 deaths, including children and women, and 1,131 injures,” The Governor said on Wednesday.
He added that the number of engineering committees formed in the governorate after the earthquake disaster which reach 102, have completed the inspection of about 27,641 buildings in the governorate and their reports indicated that 967 buildings were completely damaged.
