In telephone call with President al-Assad, President of Abkhazia stresses his country’s solidarity with Syria over the earthquake

Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad received on Thursday a telephone call from President of Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania who reaffirmed his country’s condolence and solidarity with Syria over the devastating earthquake.

President Bzhania said he is confident in the Syrians’ capability to overcome the repercussions of that ordeal, showing his country’s readiness to offer everything needed to support the Syrian civil and governmental efforts to relieve families of the affected areas.

President al-Assad, in turn, thanked President Bzhania for his country’s support to Syria during the ordeal, a stance that reflects strong relations that bind the two peoples and states.
