President al-Assad receives more cables of condolence from presidents and leaders of Arab and foreign countries

Damascus,SANA-Messages of condolence and solidarity with Syria continue from presidents and leaders of Arab and foreign countries as well as partisan and popular activities.

President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan and the President of the Republic of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, expressed in two messages to President Bashar al-Assad their condolences for the loss of hundreds of victims as a result of the devastating earthquake, offering sincere expressions of solidarity and support for their families and loved ones.

The President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mohammed Abdul Hamid, and the President of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall, also expressed, in their letters to President Al-Assad, their deep sorrow over the disaster that Syria has been exposed to, and they expressed confidence that the Syrian people are able to overcome its effects.

Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, offered President Assad his sincere condolences and sympathy, asking God Almighty to bless the victims with mercy and give their families the patience.

Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairperson of the Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, affirmed his country’s solidarity with Syria and its readiness to provide assistance to counter the effects of the earthquake.

Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, also sent President Assad, the families of the victims and the Syrian people his sincere condolences, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

President al-Assad also received many cables of condolence from partisan and popular activities who called for lifting the siege on Syria and speeding up aid to the Syrian people.
