National Guard of Russia destroys 13 tons of explosives in areas of special operation

Moscow, SANA- More than 13 tons of explosive materials were destroyed in the area of the special operations in Ukraine, the Administration of Engineering Units of the Russian National Guard announced on Tuesday.

“Since the beginning of the special military operation, the engineering units of the National Guard forces have saved the lives of thousands of civilians in the area of operations, destroyed more than 13 tons of explosives, and dismantled more than 112,000 explosive materials and mines,” Novosti news agency quoted the administration as saying in a statement.

The statement added that 70 demining teams work in the area of special military operations every day and inspect important sites and checkpoints, to give humanitarian aid to schools, kindergartens and hospitals.
