An officer martyred, others wounded in explosive device blast in Daraa

Damascus, SANA-the Ministry of the Interior said that an officer was martyred and two other personnel and three civilians were injured, as a result of the detonation of an explosive device in Daraa.

“Major Fares Khalil, from the rank of Special Tasks Unit in Damascus, was martyred, two policemen, Muhammad Diab and Fadi Hammadi, and three civilians were injured, as a result of an explosive device blast in Bosra Square in Daraa, their national duty”, The ministry said in a statement to SANA.

The statement added that the body of the martyr and the injured were admitted to the National Hospital in Daraa.
