Damascus, SANA- People’s Assembly Speaker, Hammouda Sabbagh, discussed with Shahid Akhtar , Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to Syria, means of developing bilateral relations in all fields, especially the parliamentary one.
Sabbagh asserted the importance of intensifying meetings and exchange of expertise in a way that achieves growth and prosperity to the two friendly peoples.
Ambassador Akhtar, for his part, stressed his country’s stance in support of Syria’s unity and territorial integrity, underlining the importance of developing the trade and industry relations with the Syrian side, as well as the educational one through exchanging scholarships and missions.
