China calls on Turkey and Israel to immediately stop attacks on Syria

New York, SANA- China expressed deep concern over the hostile actions carried out by Turkey and Israeli occupation in Syria, calling for immediate stop of those attacks and avoiding any action that could escalate the situation.

“We must firmly defend Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” said China’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Geng Shuang to Russian News Agency RIA Novosti.

Shuang added that the hostile acts carried out by Turkey and Israel grossly violate Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity could lead to an escalation and sprawl of the crisis in Syria, stressing the importance to commit to dialogue to resolve the relevant issues.
