Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- An Israeli settler was killed and 19 others were injured on Wednesday in a heroic operation carried out by the Palestinian resistance in the occupied city of Jerusalem, in response to the continued Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.
The Israeli occupation media reported that an explosion went off at around 8 am near the central bus stop at the entrance to Jerusalem, as a result of an explosive device planted in the place, killing a settler and injuring 16 others, including critical injuries.
About a quarter of an hour later, a second explosion went off at another bus stop south of Jerusalem, injuring 3 settlers.
Following the explosion, the occupation forces blocked all entrances to the city and intensified their presence and set up checkpoints.
“The heroic operation in Jerusalem comes in the context of the natural response to the occupation, its terrorism and its criminal practices against the Palestinian people,” said Tariq Ezz El-Din, spokesman for the Islamic Jihad Movement.
He noted that the Judization operations, incursions into sanctities, and attacks on Jerusalem, Hebron, Jenin, Nablus, and all occupied Palestinian territories will not go unpunished.
