Syria’s U-23 football team beats Chinese Taipei in the Asian Cup qualifiers

Amman, SANA-The Syrian U-23 football team beat Chinese Taipei 1-0 in the match that brought them together in the Jordanian capital, Amman, in the opening of its participation in the Asian qualifiers .

Mahmoud al-Aswad scored for the Syrian team in the 27 minute, and our team will meet in its second match of the qualifiers with the Marina Islands team the day after tomorrow, to face Jordan next Friday before it concludes the qualifiers against Turkmenistan on September 18th.

The team that gains the first place in each group qualifies for the Asian finals, along with the best 5 teams that get second place in the ten groups of qualifiers to join the team of Uzbekistan, the host of the tournament.
