Damascus, SANA- Syria has strongly condemned the US continued interference in China’s internal affairs, stressing its support for Beijing in defending its sovereignty and security, and its support for the “one China” principle.
“We strongly condemn the US continued practice of military escalation policies and its threatening of the international peace and security around the world through the provocative arms deal announced by the US administration to Taiwan… We stand by China in defending its sovereignty and security, and we reiterate our support for the (one China) principle,” Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a tweet today.
Syria constantly affirms its absolute and unlimited support for China’s efforts and its principled positions in the face of attempts of external interference in its internal affairs, whether in Taiwan, Hong Kong or Xinjiang, the Ministry added.
The Foreign Ministry stressed China’s non-negotiable right to take the measures and steps it decides to protect and preserve its sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
