Damascus, SANA- Syrian cartoonist Raed Khalil won the third international prize in the International Festival of Humor and Satire in Italy.
188 artists from 43 countries around the world participated in the festival.
The theme of the competition focused on “Genius and Regularness – Madness as a creative engine”
Khalil’s painting embodied the complex content of Einstein’s theory of relativity in a satirical manner that made the mechanic maintain and repair the theory in a deep reference to the urgent need to develop some concepts and crystallize them in a way that matches the reality of people , gives new dimensions ,and opens the gates of contemplation to the world with all its theories.
