Moscow,SANA- Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the era of unipolarity in the world is over despite all Western attempts to preserve it.

Western sanctions have failed to destroy the Russian economy, which got rid of inflation as its main goal today is to increase production,Putin delivered a speech at the St. Petersburg Internationals Economic Forum.

Putin added that imposing sanctions on Russia by the Western countries have affected on the economy of these countries as the inflation rate has risen there and their peoples recognize the repercussions of that.
