Provinces, SANA – Units of the army and armed forces crushed Tuesday a number of terrorist organizations’ dens and hideouts, including for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), and destroyed several vehicles for the terrorists, killing more of them.
Raqqa
An army unit crushed a den belonging to ISIS terrorist organization in Hazima village north of Raqqa province, a military source said.
It was quoted by SANA as saying that the den, which was directly hit by the army, was fully destroyed with all the ISIS terrorists inside it killed.
Another army unit carried out raids on a convoy of vehicles belonging to ISIS while they were passing near al-Asadya Bridge on the northern outskirts of Raqqa city, destroying a number of the vehicles and damaging the rest of them, according to the source.
The operation also resulted in killing many terrorists and wounding others.
A few days earlier, ISIS received 200 out of 5000 cars that crossed al-Rihaniyeh crossing on the northern border with Turkey, delivered by Turkish companies via Turkish agents.
Hasaka
An army unit targeted with heavy artillery dens of ISIS terrorists in Tal Hamis town in the southern countryside of Qamishli in the northeastern province of Hasaka, inflicting heavy losses upon them, in addition to using heavy artillery destroying a gathering of ISIS in al-Maylabiye area 15 km south of Hasaka city, leaving many terrorists dead or injured.
Similar artillery strikes by the army left several ISIS terrorists dead in the village of Mafraq al-Sedeek 15 km south of Hasaka.
Deir Ezzor
Other army units killed tens of ISIS members and injured many others in al-Jafra and al-Mrei’iyeh in the eastern province of Deir Ezzor.
In parallel, the popular resistance in the province continued operations against ISIS, recently killing two of the organization’s members in al-Mayadeen city, at a time when the army is close to tightening its grip around Mohassan town in order to retake it.
Damascus Countryside
In Damascus Countryside, a unit of the army and armed forces crushed several gatherings and vehicles belonging to terrorist organizations in al-Qalamon mountains.
ِA military source told SANA that the army also killed and injured a number of terrorists in many areas in Douma, with websites affiliated to the “Al-Islam Army ” terrorist organization confessing that 20 terrorists were killed and over 80 were injured.
that the army killed members of terrorists in Rankous, Zamlak and Qara, among the dead terrorists was Abu Muslim al-Tunsi, leader of Jabhet al-Nusra terrorist organization in Rankous.
Idleb
Units of the army killed many terrorists and others were left wounded in Jabal al-Akrad on the border with Turkey in the countryside of the northern province of Idleb.
The areas of Abu al-Duhour, Tal Salmo and al-Hamidiyeh also witnessed intensive operations carried out by the army, which resulted in many deaths within the terrorists’ ranks.
In Jisr al-Shughour area, an army unit directly hit terrorists’ dens at the Cork Factory, leaving many of them dead and others wounded.
Lattakia
A military source told SANA that army units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in Salma, Marj Khoukha, Majdal Kikha and Kansba in Lattakia countryside
Hama
More terrorists were killed and others were injured in Adla, Jarouh, al-Ruweida and al-Mintar in the countryside of the central province of Hama.
In another context, terrorists fired three rocket shells on al-Sqeilbiyeh city and Shat’ha town, causing material damage to the residents’ properties.
Units of the army responded to the rocket firing and targeted with heavy weaponry terrorists’ dens in Kfar Nebouda town and Harj Qassabin from which the rockets were launched. The dens were directly hit and destroyed along with the weapons and ammunition they contained.
Homs
Army units destroyed terrorist organizations’ hideouts in al-Tafha, Manoukh and Onq al-Hawa in the countryside of the central province of Homs.
The army destroyed a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun and killed a number of terrorists in an operation targeting terrorist hideouts east of al-Mshayrfeh village, in addition to killing terrorists in Oum al-Reesh village.
Army operations also resulted in inflicting heavy damages upon terrorists in the villages of Masa’ada, Oum Shairij, al-Mshayrfeh al-Shamaliye, al-Mshayrfeh al-Janoubiye, and Abu Tarha, in addition to destroying vehicles and leaving terrorists dead or injured in the village of Rahoum.
Other army units carried out operations against terrorists in Abu al-Sanasel hill, Hosh Jabourin, al-Hilaliye, and al-Wa’ra, killing a number of terrorists, injuring others, and destroying a bulldozer they had been using, in addition to eliminating terrorists and destroying a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun in al-Ghanto and Kisin.
