Russian army destroys hundreds of Ukrainian military sites

Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry spokesman, Major General Igor Konashenkov, announced on Tuesday that the Russian armed forces have continued the special military operation to protect Donbass by targeting the sites, command centers and gatherings of the Ukrainian forces.

In a press briefing on Tuesday, Konashenkov said “last night, by using high-precision air weapons, three command headquarters, 36 sites for mobilizing manpower and combat equipment and a group of self-propelled guns belonging to the Ukrainian army were destroyed in Soledar town, as well as 6 weapons depots in the Donetsk Republic, including a large warehouse of 155 mm shells of US howitzers.

Konashenkov added that Russian operational and tactical aviation targeted headquarters, ammunition depots, and the Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system in the Lugansk People’s Republic, as 210 Nazis were eliminated and 31 pieces of combat equipment were disabled, while Russian aviation shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 plane in the Donetsk Republic.

The spokesperson said that the missile and artillery forces also destroyed 84 command headquarters, 463 manpower and combat equipment mobilization sites, 137 artillery batteries, 13 tanks and armored vehicles, 4 Grad launchers and 3 ammunition depots.

He added that during the past 24 hours, the Russian anti-air defense forces dropped 5 drones, and 4 Smirch launchers were intercepted in Kherson and Kharkov provinces.
