Havana, SANA- The Syrian Embassy in Cuba, in cooperation with the branch of the National Union of Syrian Students (NUSS) in Cuba celebrated the 76th anniversary of Evacuation Day, Syria’s Independence Day, in Havana.
The Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy underlined the importance of constantly commemorating this anniversary, especially in light of the fierce war that Syria has been facing for years against terrorism, stressing that as Syria won the battle of independence, the country will also achieve victory in the battle against terrorism.
In turn, the students and members of the Syrian community in Cuba reiterated their support for their country in confronting the conspiracy targeting its people, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
