Damascus, SANA- Syria condemned in the strongest terms the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces in al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards, acts of sabotage and desecration to the holy place contents, in addition to the blatant and barbaric attacks on the worshippers.
‘Syria follows with deep concern the dangerous and extremely important events and developments in Jerusalem city’, an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement to SANA.
In this context, Syria condemns the inhumane Israeli attacks on Palestinian civilians which injured hundreds of them, in addition to arresting hundreds others who are defending the sanctity of al-Aqsa and are confronting the attacks of extremists and Israeli settlers planning to storm al-Aqsa under the protection of the occupying forces and their racist government, the source said.
It added that doubtful silence of the so-called international community and the unjustified inaction of international organizations to stop those attacks and the unlimited US support for the practices of occupation, aggression, settlement, Judization, killing, destructing and seizing of Palestinian lands, all these actions will not change the deep-rooted historical facts since Israel is the side that poses threat to regional and international peace and security.
The source concluded by saying that Syria reaffirms its continuous support to the Palestinian people.
