Russian army distributes humanitarian aid to resident of Ukraine’s Kherson

Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry announced on Friday that 20 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to the residents of Kherson Province, southern Ukraine.

“Food paskets were distributed in the villages of Chernobaevka and Antonovka , located near the city of Kherson, and whose population is currently more than 2,000 people, most of whom are elderly and children.”, the Ministry said in a statement quoted by RIA Novosti news agency.

The food baskets included various kinds of cereals, sugar, canned meat, oil and other basic foodstuffs.

The Russian forces took control of Kherson early this month as part of the special military operation they are carrying out in Ukraine.
