Russia disabled 90% of Ukraine’s Military Aerodromes, defense Ministry says

Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday that military forces have disabled 90% of the Ukrainian military airdromes, knocked out 2786 sites of infrastructure during the special military operation to protect Donbas.

“The destroyed Ukrainian military facilities include two combatant commands, 6 anti-aircraft missile systems and 4 caches,” Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said in a press briefing.

The Defense Ministry spokesperson further informed that Ukraine’s losses were inside 953 tanks and other armored vehicles, 351 pieces of artillery and mortar systems, 101 rocket artillery systems, 718 military vehicles and 93 drones.

“At the start of the special operation, the Ukrainian Air Force had as many as 250 serviceable combat aircraft and helicopters. Russia’s Aerospace Forces have destroyed 89 combat aircraft and 57 helicopters on the ground and in the air,” Konashenkov added.
