Caracas, SANA- Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro stressed that Russia can count on Venezuela’s support in facing threats from NATO and Western countries.
“Russia is fully supported by Venezuela in the face of the threats from NATO and the Western world, so that it continues to be an essential part of the world.” Maduro was cited on Wednesday by Russian Novosti Agency as saying.
“President Vladimir Putin knows he can count on the government of Venezuela,” Maduro said, praising Russia’s victory in its use of diplomacy to protect its interests.
The West is waging an unprecedented political and media disinformation campaign against Russia, as it has come to determine the hour of the alleged “invasion” of Ukraine at dawn yesterday, which did not happen.
Russia asserts that all this Western hysteria is being used as an excuse to place more NATO military equipment near the Russian border.
