Belarus Premier: We are ready to enhance relations with Syria

Minsk, SANA- Belarus Prime Minister, Roman Golovchenko, described relations between Syria and his country as “deep and historic” that cover all aspects.

” We are very interested in the situation in Syria,” Golovchenko said during a meeting on Thursday with a Syrian visiting delegation, adding that during the difficult times to which Syria has passed through “we were very close to friendly Syria and we provided support to the Syrian people.”

In turn, Head of the Syrian delegation to the Syrian-Belarus joint committee, Minster of Public Works and Housing, Suhail Abdullatif, said that Syria highly appreciates Belarus stance in support of Syria against terrorism.

He added that Syria denounces foreign schemes that attempt to target Belarus sovereignty and interfere in its domestic affairs.
