Temperatures to drop, cold weather at night in most regions

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly drop, yet they will remain from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

The skies will be partly cloudy in general with a weak shower chance in the coastal region, and the weather will be cold at night in most regions, while frost is expected over the mountains and fog is expected in some inland areas, according to the bulletin of the Meteorology Department.

The wind will be southeasterly to easterly with a low to moderate speed, and it will become active sometimes, while the sea waves will be low in height.

Different amounts of rainfall were registered in a number of provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: Damascus 15/7, Daraa 17/8, Homs 18/9, Lattakia 20/14, Aleppo 14/5 and Deir Ezzor 16/4.
