Washington, SANA- Since its outbreak in December 2019, the worldwide novel coronavirus pandemic has claimed the lives of more than five million, according to the last statistics by the American Worldometers Website.
“The total number of worldwide infections has reached up to 247,233,120, while the death toll has amounted to 5,012,394, the Site added.
It is notable that the worst affected country is still the US in terms of infections and fatalities as it has detected 46,799,970 infections and 766,117 deaths.
