Turkish regime, its terrorist mercenaries continue to excavate, steal antiquities in Ras al-Ayn

Hasaka, SANA- The Turkish regime and its terrorist mercenaries continued their organized crimes in the Syrian territories they occupy, and during the past hours, they began a new round of illegal excavations for archaeological finds in Ras al-Ayn area in Hasaka northern countryside, which is one of the richest areas in the archaeological hills in the region.

Local sources said that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation carried out random excavations under the supervision of the Turkish regime’s intelligence in the archaeological area of ”Tal al-Jihash” and the surrounding tombs, and extracted archaeological and pottery finds and immediately began collecting and smuggling them to Turkish territory in agreement with brokers and merchants close to Erdogan’s regime to sell them in global markets.

Since the start of their aggression on Syrian territory, the Turkish regime and its terrorist mercenaries, in cooperation with a group of mercenaries of different nationalities, including Turks, Americans and French, have carried out systematic operations to excavate archaeological sites and steal many of the artifacts from them in order to sabotage and destroy the Syrian cultural heritage, which constitutes a crime to be added to a long list of crimes committed by them against the Syrian people, and their history and civilization.
