Damascus, SANA- Special Advisor at the Republic Presidency, Bouthaina Shaaban, met on Thursday an Iranian Parliamentary delegation, headed by Deputy chairman of Syrian-Iranian Friendship Group, Abbas Golroo.
During the meeting, members of the Iranian delegation congratulated Syria for the winning of President Bashar al-Assad in the election, affirming that the election process had political multiple indicators and meanings as it was held as schedule, from one point, and the wide popular participation, from another point.
Shaaban, for her part, said that the parliamentary cooperation is important for relations among countries, congratulating Iran for the success of the presidential election and the winning of President Ebrahim Raisi.
She stressed that Syria and Iran will ever remain a front for the victory of Right, pointing out to the need for establishing joint research centers that consolidate the culture of resistance.
