Worldwide coronavirus death toll surpasses three million and 943 thousand

Capitals, SANA- The novel coronavirus pandemic has claimed the lives of more than 3,943,000 people worldwide since its breakout in December 2019, according to the last statistics by the American Worldometers Website.

The website, which tracks the latest developments of the virus, added that the total number of the coronavirus infections worldwide has reached up to 182,133,413 till now, while 3,943,924 cases have passed away, and the recoveries have climbed to 166,689,273.

The US still tops the worst-affected countries in terms of infections and deaths as it has recorded 619,528 deaths out of 34,506,818 infections.

India comes second with 379,668 deaths out of 30,316,000 infections, then comes Brazil in the third place as it has registered 514,092 deaths out of 18,448,402 infections.
