Hot and misty weather prevails in eastern areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures continue to rise to become from 3 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure from the southeast accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy, local rain showers accompanied with thunder are expected in the eastern and al-Jazeera areas, while it will be misty in those areas.

The winds will be western to northwestern between low to moderate in speed, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 34/14, Homs 32/16, Hasaka 38/19, Lattakia 30/19, Aleppo 33/18 and Deir Ezzor 39/25.
