Provinces, SANA – The Army and Armed Forces directly targeted and hit several of terrorist organizations’ strongholds and positions in various areas, inflicting major losses upon their ranks, including some of their leaders.
Hasaka
SANA reporter in Hasaka said army units stormed gatherings of ISIS terrorists in al-Meilbiyeh, 20 km south of Hasaka city, leaving many terrorists dead and others wounded.
Idleb
Army units killed many terrorists and wounded others in al-Sermaniyeh, Qastoun and Bsames in the countryside of the northern province of Idleb.
Damascus Countryside
A military source told SANA that the army clashed with terrorists who tried to attack military posts in Khan al-Sheeh area in Damascus Countryside and killed 34 of them, a number of them were of non-Syrian nationalities.
Terrorists Suleiman al-Qahtani and Adnan Awerani from KSA, Mohammad al-Maghribi from Morocco, Omar Azdi from Turkey and Ahmad Shahin from Jordan were identified among the dead.
Lattakia
Army units targeted and destroyed hideouts and concentrations for Jabhet al-Nusra terrorists in addition to weapons warehouse, two vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns and a mortar in the areas of Katf al-Rumman, al-Frugluq Reserve, Zahi Mount, Jib Qato and Ayn al-Samour in Lattakia northern and north-eastern countryside. Scores of terrorists, including of non-Syrian nationalities, were killed in the process.
Deir Ezzor
The army continued operations against the armed terrorist groups in Deir Ezzor province, destroying their concentrations and killing and injur8ing large numbers of them.
A military source told SANA that the army clashed with ISIS terrorists in the areas of al-Jbeila, al-Orfa, al-Sina’a and al-Rasafa in Deir Ezzor city, killing and injuring scores of them and destroying their hideouts and weaponry.
The source added that the army also clashed with ISIS terrorists in Hwejat Sakr, al-Jafra and al-Mari’yeh in Deir Ezzor countryside and killed dozens of them, including mercenaries from Saudi Arabia and Tunisia.
A number of vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns were also destroyed.
Units of the army and armed forces continued Monday chasing remnants members of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria “ISIS”
terrorist organization in Jubelia, Hawaiqa, Erfa, Senaha and Rusafa in the eastern city of Deir Ezzor.
A military source told SANA that the units killed a number of terrorists in the above mentioned areas including Mohamad Bassam Al-Ghazi and Khalaf Basem Jamal.
The units also targeted terrorists’ dens in Hweijet Soker, Jafra surroundings and Merihiya in the countryside of the eastern province of Deir Ezzor and killed a number of mercenaries among
them Saudi Sultan Ghamdi, Tunisian terrorist nicknamed Abu Omar, Ismail Mohamad Mezhel, Khattab Khalil al-Badri and Fawaz Abdul Salam Ahmad, and destroyed a number of their ehicles equipped with heavy guns.
Daraa
Units of the army destroyed several gatherings and dens for terrorist organizations in al-Sheikh Miskeen town in the countryside of the southern province of Daraa, a military source said on Sunday.
The operation resulted in the killing of many of the organizations’ members, while others were wounded.
Army units also directly hit dens of terrorists in Atman town, according to the source, who confirmed that two terrorists were killed in the area surrounding al-Kawabel building to the west of the town.
In Daraa al-Balad in the city, units of the army continued intensive operations targeting dens of the takfiri terrorist organizations. One of the dens that belonged to leaders of terrorist groups was destroyed in the area west of Bilal al-Habashi mosque, with all terrorists inside it getting killed.
An accurate operation launched against terrorists to the southwest of al-Yarmouk suburb in Daraa al-Balad left many of them killed or wounded.
Homs
Units of the Army and Armed Forces directed intensive strikes against the terrorist organizations’ strongholds in Taldo in al-Houla area in the countryside of the central province of Homs, according to a military source.
The source confirmed to SANA reporter that many terrorists were killed as a result of the operation.
Many other terrorists were killed in army operations in the areas of Rajm al-Qasr, Tallet al-Souma’a, Hersh Um Sahrig, al-Msheirfa al-Janoubiyeh, Habra al-Gharbiyeh and Onq al-Hawa in the eastern countryside of Homs.
Another army unit carried out a special operation against terrorists’ positions in the area between al-Sultaniyeh and Salam Gharbi villages, east of Homs city, leaving a number of them dead and others injured.
In the northern countryside, army units carried out another special operation against terrorist organizations’ dens in Ein Hussein village on Talbiseh road, 10 km away from al-Rastan, with the operation resulting in destroying a weapons and ammunition cache for the organizations.
In the city, an army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in a special operation that targeted one of their strongholds in the surrounding of al-Kharab Street, which separates al-Waer from the safe neighborhoods in the city.
In another context, SANA reporter mentioned that terrorists detonated an explosive device attached to a car inside Palmyra city in Homs countryside, injuring a civilian.
