Temperatures to drop, snow is expected on mountain heights

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop to become from 5 to 8 degrees lower than average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be relatively cold between clear to partly cloudy in general, rain showers over different areas and snow is expected over the mountains.

The sea waves will be medium to high in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities will be in Damascus 13/4, Homs 11/4, Hasaka 17/6, Lattakia 14/8, Aleppo 11/3 and Deir Ezzor 18/7.
