Worldwide coronavirus death toll exceeds two million and 604 thousand

Capitals, SANA- The novel coronavirus has claimed the lives of more than two million and 604 thousand people worldwide since its outbreak in December 2019, according to the latest statistics by the American Worldometers Website.

The Website added that the total number of the coronavirus infections worldwide has reached up to 117,402,958, while the death toll has climbed to 2,604,241, and the recoveries have amounted to 92,847,896.

The US still tops the most affected countries in terms of the deaths and infections as it has recorded 537,723 fatalities, out of 29,687,228 infections.

Meanwhile, India comes second with 157,890 deaths out of 11,229,271 infections, then Brazil comes in the third place as it has registered 265,411 deaths out of 11,019,344 infections.
