Worldwide Coronavirus death toll surpasses 2 million and 440 thousand 

Capitals, SANA – The novel Coronavirus has claimed the lives of 2,441,044 people worldwide since its outbreak last December 2019.

According to the Worldometers Website, the total number of coronavirus cases worldwide reached up to 110,435,807, of which 85 ,328415 have recovered.

In the US, 28,453,526 cases have been registered, while the death toll has amounted to 502,544 cases as it still tops the most affected countries from the virus in terms of infections and deaths.

In India, the total number of infections have reached up to 10, 950,201 while the death toll has climbed to 156,038, as the country is still in the 2^nd place in terms of the number of infections, while the number the recoveries have reached 10, 656,845.

In Brazil, the total number of infections surpassed 9,979,276 and the death toll has reached up to 242,178, while the number of recoveries reached up to 8,950,450.
