Syrian adolescent conveys awareness messages about Coronavirus through his drawings  

Daraa, SANA –  Mohamad Yahya al-Qassem has been fond of drawing and photography since he was a child which pushed him to develop his artistic abilities in this domain by following specialized courses, and at the age of 16 he reached an advanced stage in the plastic art surpassing the capabilities of his peers, particularly as he started the portrait art, in which he found a wide space to express his ideas and convey his perceptions.

“Drawing has become a part and parcel of my daily life, especially portrait art which is my artistic choice as it is the most preferable type of art as it enables me to convey fine details in a beautiful and accurate manner depending on shading and pencils as a technique which he has mastered” al-Qassem said.

Al-Qassem added that he invested his talent to convoy an array of intellectual and educational messages as he did in the period of Coronavirus outbreak, as he has been able through his artworks to shed light on ways to prevent the disease and the methods of addressing it.

Al-Qassem indicated that he is working hard to develop his skills and abilities through following courses which develop his abilities.

He expressed hope to participate soon in several exhibitions and artistic activities in Daraa city, stressing that the adolescents have a lot of creative abilities which need more care and attention.
