Capitals, SANA- The novel coronavirus “Covid-19” has claimed the lives of more than a million and 988 persons worldwide since its appearance in December 2019, according to the American Worldometers Website.
The website added that the total number of the coronavirus infections globally has reached up to 92,833,856 while the death toll has climbed to 1,988,082 and the recoveries amounted to 66, 385,481.
In Germany, Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases has announced that the total number of the confirmed coronavirus infections in Germany has increased by 25,164 cases, raising the total number of infections to 1, 978,590 while 1,244 new coronavirus fatalities have been reported bringing the total number of deaths to 43,881.
In China, the National Health Committee has declared that the Chinese Mainland on Wednesday recorded 138 confirmed coronavirus cases, of which 124 are from the locals while the rest have come from abroad.
