Damascus, ANA- Temperatures tend to drop slightly over southern and southeastern regions while it will be above average in others as the country is affected by low air pressure accompanied by southwesterly air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the weather will be cloudy to partly cloudy in general with chance of thunderstorms rain in the southern and southeastern regions and some coastal regions while it will be cold at night particularly on the mountains.
The Department warned against the formation of fog, particularly in southern regions and Qalamoun during the early morning hours and the wind will be east to northeasterly between low to moderate in speed and the sea will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major cities will be as follows: Damascus 14/9 , Aleppo17/5 ,Lattakia 21/13 ,Homs 18/5 , Hama 19/6 , Tartous 21/14.
