Activating trade exchange, establishing Joint projects between Syria and Russia discussed

Damascus, SANA_ Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Talal Al-Barazi discussed with Russian commercial delegation ways to strengthen and develop economic cooperation and trade exchange relations between Syria and Russia and opening new horizons for these relations.

The minister stressed the importance of upgrading economic relations between the two countries and translating that through trade exchange and reviving export of Syria goods and products, especially citrus, and some agricultural products to Russia and establishing joint projects that contribute to the development of the production process in Syria.

For their part, the members of the delegation affirmed their readiness to set up investment projects in Syria, enhance export and import between the two countries, and to cooperate in the field of fish resources’ projects, building materials, manufacturing tractors, building and repairing all kinds of boats, and establishing a center for packing citrus and fruits in Syria.
