Damascus, SANA – Speaker of the Syrian People’s Assembly Mohammad Jihad al-Laham condemned the Israeli aggression which targeted two areas in Damascus Countryside on Sunday afternoon.
During an Assembly session On Monday, the Speaker said that such an act will not change the course of the Syrian Arab Army’s war on terrorism and that it only exposes the partnership between Israel and terrorists.
Al-Laham said that the failure of Israel to make any impact on the southern region by providing support to terrorists and treating their injured prompted the aggression under the false assumption that it can help the terrorists who are waning under the onslaught of the Army and Armed Forces.
The Israeli aggression had targeted two areas in Damascus Countryside in al-Dimas and Damascus International Airport, which is a civilian airport, causing material damage to some facilities.
