Capitals, SANA- According to the American Worldometers Website the global Coronavirus infections have amounted to 40,232,000 since the appearance of the pandemic last December, while the death toll has exceeded 1,117,000.
Meanwhile, the number of the recoveries has reached up to 30,045,963, according to the website.
The US is still in the first place among the countries which have been the most badly hit by the coronavirus as it has recorded 224,725 deaths out of 8,384,212 infections, while India comes in the second place with 114,629 deaths out of 7,547,762 infections and Brazil comes third with 153,905 deaths out of 5,235,344 infections.
