NAM countries call on Israeli occupation to withdraw from Syrian Golan

New York, SANA-Foreign Ministers of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) called on the Israeli entity to withdraw from the Occupied Syrian Golan until June 4th, 1967 line.

The demand came in a political declaration, issued by an Online Ministerial Meeting of the Non Aligned Movement via videoconference under the motto “Bandung+65: More Relevant, United and Effective NAM against Emerging Global Challenges, including COVID-19” on the sideline of the works of 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Ministerial statement condemned all the procedures taken by the Israeli occupation to change the legal, material and demographic status of the Occupied Syrian Golan, calling on “Israel” to commit to the UN Security Council’s resolution No.497 for the year 1981, and the Israeli full withdrawal from the Syrian occupied Golan till the Line of June 4th ,1967, in implementation for the two Security Council resolutions No. 242 and 338.
