Quneitra, SANA- Locals of Quneitra and the occupied Syrian Golan renewed their resolve to continue the struggle till liberating the entire occupied Golan from the Israeli occupation, voicing commitment to their national identity and rejection of all Zionist schemes.
The locals’ remarks came in the framework of the rhetorical festival held in al-Tahrir square in Quneitra on Wednesday, marking the 47th anniversary of October Liberation War as the participants renewed their commitment to every inch of their occupied lands and their determination to continue the struggle until the occupied lands are fully liberated.
Quneitra Governor said in a speech at the festival that the October liberation war was a pivotal historic l turning point in the Arab-Zionist conflict, hailing the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab forces in this war.
The Governor also appreciated the locals of the occupied Golan’s steadfastness and adherence to their lands despite off all the racial measures which the Israeli occupation authorities have taken against them.
For his part, Secretary of Quneitra Branch of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Khaled Abaza hailed the sacrifices of the brave Syrian army, expressing confidence that the liberation of the entire Golan from the Israeli occupation is inevitable.
